Build a Planter with Saucer

Thursday October 1, 8, 15 and 22, 2026 1:00pm - 3:00pm

During this four-week handbuilding class we will get into creating with slabs of clay. Using your hands and building from a block of clay you will create and form your very own unique design and the end of the workshop you will walk away with a one-of-a kind planter for your favourite house plants.

In the course of the four weeks of building, we will explore the possibilities and limitations when working with slabs of clay as we add components to our pieces. You will get to familiarise yourself with the amazing properties of clay.

The first three classes will focus on designing and finishing our projects The last class will be a glazing class. 

The class runs September 26, October 3, 10 and 17
