Collection: Urns

I create urns to honour the loyal and spirited soul of your animal companion. The playful design of the urns is intentional. Whether your dog loved balls, sticks or a day at the beach I aim to incorporate some of this energy into the urn.

So, what really goes into this urn? As with my other work, these works are handbuilt and every single piece is unique. I use both slab as well as coiling method to create these. What they all have in common is that they are lidded vessels created in a variety of sizes depending on the weight of your beloved pet. 

Handbuilding often produces pieces that are slightly asymmetrical and so it is with these urns. The lid is made to fit snugly. Once you have transferred the remains to the urn, I suggest adding a few dabs of silicone, or putty, to the ledge of the lid so that it stays on firmly. You may opt to glue the lid but be aware: once glued, the lid will remain in place for good.

This special urn will continue to be a joyful reminder of your departed companion, and it will add a beautiful presence to the décor of your home.
