Collection: Orbs

I am fascinated with the round form and have enjoyed exploring this shape in my work for many years. My childhood was spent in an orchard and my first job involved picking, weighing and sorting fruit of all kinds. Most fruits are round and beautifully individual. I also love gazing at the heavens and am fond of identifying planets and stars. I don’t know if this is what has inspired my obsession with roundness but I find it tremendously satisfying and pleasing – and thus orbs continue to materialize.

Some of my orbs have an opening at the top (or bottom) that allows it to be used as a vase or as decorative hanging piece of art; some are made as rattles and will make themselves heard when rolled, others again are simply decorative orbs. All orbs are safe to live inside or outside and will make nice additions to any garden.
