Candlelight will add warmth and comfort to most spaces. Having grown up in Denmark where ‘hygge’ is second nature to any home I like to bring candles into most gatherings.  Lanterns and candle holders alike are created with the intention of bringing more light and warmth to the space.

Lantern houses and lantern trees are a wonderful way of adding a cozy and inviting atmosphere to your home. A single tea light placed underneath the lantern is all it takes to make your little house or tree come alive with natural glimmers.

When I started making candle holders, I thought of ways in which the candle holder would fade into the background when the candles were lit and then assume a more visible and prominent role without candIes, or without lit candles. My candle holders are slab built, slim at the top to accommodate the different sized candles and then fanning out into a wider base, almost like a dress for the candles. Combining several candlesticks in varying height makes for a very inviting display.

These candle holders and lanterns are created individually with no two being exactly alike. With a deep respect for my craft, I create works to add pleasure to your daily life.
