On the Work Table

When I started looking to add new planters to my home I wanted something other than the traditional terracotta pots so I decided to create a new line of planters.

These come in various sizes and designs. As is common with most of my work I leave the outside of the piece partially glazed thus showcasing the actual colour of the clay. The inside of the planter is fully glazed to prevent mold and algae from forming on the outside of the pot.

The planters come with a fully glazed saucer. I add little feet to the saucer to allow for air flow underneath the plant. This will again prevent mold from forming on the surface of the host table or counter.
