Anne Jones and her wonderful handmade prints join me in the studio this Fall.

I first saw Anne's work online and fell in love with her series of prints inspired by Welsh mythology. These pieces are loosely drawn from the Mabinogion, a collection of Welsh prose dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries. Anne's interpretation and creation of these mythical creatures is itself inspiring. Her work is abstract, bold, mysterious and expressive.

Now, I can't wait to explore some of these visuals and stories in future clay pieces.
